Next on the runway is Fr. Smythe sporting the latest from the Bad Vestment Catalog. Imagine yourself bedecked in this dramatic representation of the true meaning of Easter with two symbols of the traditional Easter egg, one a Grade A, the other marked with the cross to symbolize the meeting of society and church.
I tend to echo the sentiments of The Underground Pewster. Looks like a bad vestments fashion show. Too tacky! I thought such hoo-ha went away after the 1970s. Frankly, it was a combination of tacky vestments like this and really bad liturgi-pop schlock music that drove me to the local Tridentine Latin Mass! I especially admire the silly grin on the guy's face.
For some reason I'm visualizing the egg with legs thing from Heironomous Bosch's "Last Judgment." You know, that very weird and disturbing painting with all the bizarre creatures in it?

My word - that looks like something from Fr Darren Smith's ACS site!
There's an app for this.

Thank God I don't see it every day. That means I only have to poke my eyes out once.
There may be an app, Anonymous, but is there a cure??

Reminds me of the commercials for Jimmy Dean breakfast products.
