What do you expect? Beauty, grace, dignity - they all went out the door with the 1928 BCP. If you go to church and hug people and dance around the nave whilst singing cheap music and saying "and also with you" - any old rag will do!
Members of the Methodist Association of Youth Clubs (MAYC) in Britain would wear in green and yellow at their youth events. However, it was never supposed to represent a liturgical season. Unless it's a Norwich City supporter.

On the plus side, there are fish, grapes and wheat represented on a field of liturgical green. Better than most, but still garish.
Agree with Anon #3. Some redeeming qualities but it still makes me suddenly want to grab a nice cold Sprite.
This is, at once, the most depressing and hilarious blog on t'internet!!!
Albert: agreed!

I wouldn't even have it as a shower curtain. Not even in the 70's when I was young, foolish, and wore polyester...
Does have the unfortunate effect of making you feel seasick if you look at it for too long.
I didn't know that Ikea sold vestments. Did anyone catch the name of this fine Swedish product . . . mekkomipiooka - perhaps???
The sad thing, someone did buy it, spent money for it, and thinks "man, do I look Good."
What is it with the churches and the 70s anyway? There are some things about that decade I'd rather forget, thank you :P

This is something I'd expect Tyler Perry's Madea to wear ... or Deanna Troi's mother ....
Are you sure it's grapes? Looks awfully like an ananas to me - or even hops.
Skal!
Pompous Ass
Wow......that will wake them up on Sunday morning!
This vestment was obviously inspired by Shakespeare:
"And with a green and yellow melancholy She sat like patience on a monument. . . "
