Have just discovered your blog thanks to Fr Finigan's link on his blog. I needed cheering up and have enjoyed (not sure if that is the right word!) looking through it and reading the amusing comments.

One of my particular 'favourites' was to be found in a video on the web site of the diocese of Lyon in France where the Celebrant wore blue vestments decorated with large silver stars. As the Basilica is dedicated to Our Lady the blue was liturgically correct, and one of her titles is Star of the Sea but the vestments made him look like a magician. The Mass was for young people - I wonder what they thought.

I was going to say that it looks like one of my EEG printouts but I guess I won't.

Potholders right off the mill prior to being cut.

Too long to be a rug, too dizzying for a stair runner.

They're from Guatemala, from a different region from the ones we usually see.
